TEIFI DIVERSE MINDS

A new group for neurodivergent adults in the Teifi Valley in West Wales

A new social and support group for neurodivergent adults living within travelling distance of Newcastle Emlyn in West Wales. Whether you have a diagnosis, are on a waiting list for a diagnosis, self identified, or seriously think you may be neurodivergent and would like to learn more, this group could be for you. We have a venue available in Newcastle Emlyn town centre, and hope to commence meetings during April 2025.

Drop In

The Three Compasses, Sycamore Street, Newcastle Emlyn, SA38 9AP

This is not a formal meeting, but a chance to drop in for a chat about the group and what you would like from it. Stay a few minutes, or several hours.

It's in a quiet back room at a pub, which some people may not find ideal, but it's a readily available venue to start the group at, until we know where we are going. Come along and help decide the future of the group.

If you feel uncomfortable about entering the pub through the bar, the side entrance should be open so you can come in through the garden.

Complete Our Survey

We want this group to meet the wants and needs of local neurodivergent people, and as a first step we have a survey we would like as many people as possible to complete. This asks questions about the type of meetings you would like, what unmet support needs you have that we may be able to help each other with, and the best times for you to attend meetings. We would also like to know if there is any interest in holding some meetings online.

Anything you see on this web site is just some initial suggestions to get things started. If it doesn't suit your needs, please tell us, and we will try develop the group in whatever way brings the most benefit to as many people as possible.

  • Sharing experiencies
  • Dispelling stereotypes
  • Helping non neurodivergent people understand us better
